iCVT shifter patents

Our PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) application on the iCVT shifter has been granted while the PCT search report indicated that NO PRIOR ART was found by the PCT search. The iCVT shifter presents a solenoid activated mechanical, reversible, index on demand device.

This device is based on a Geneva wheel or Maltese cross and functions as the drive to incrementally position the sheaves of the iCVT to the next required gear ratio. The iCVT shifter does not require any hydraulic or servo system and only uses power when shifting ratios while remaining idle the rest of the time.
