iCVT patents

iCVT Vehicle in Final tests
Our PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) application on the Naudic iCVT (Incremental Continuously Variable Transmission) concept has been granted while the PCT search report indicated that NO PRIOR ART was found by the PCT search.

This presents a major victory for Barloworld CVT Technologies since claim 1 of above patent application describes the CONCEPT of the Naudic iCVT and thus any implementation or embodiment using this CONCEPT will be protected by above granted PCT application.

As a result patent applications were filed in 13 international countries without modification of any of the 40 claims in our conceptual Naudic iCVT patent application. The outcomes of these applications are expected in the next months.

The Naudic iCVT PCT application,WO2005/036028, can be downloaded (3.2MB) in pdf format by clicking on the link below. Note that the official search report, indicating no prior art, is attached at the end of this document.
